swadesh!!

a movie of my kind i woud say.. it revolvs around most important issues in todays life.....
the primary or i would say the soul is to make people understand the true happiness one gets in living in ones own country... i found the scene wherein he looks out of the aeroplane n feels happy lookin at his motherland...
living in America, n being a project manager in NASA, he doesnt really know the tough life people face in the villages.. at first he blames our costituttion n government n says nothin can be done about it.. but after hearing the sad story of a farmer he has a burning passion 2 solve atleast some misery.. he is shocked n broken down....
n he tries to utilize the stream 2 produce electricity, n he succeeds in it ...
n now its time 2 go back 2 his work in america.. but he realizes how tough it is to leave a place where he has ' de love of his life" n his lovable"mother".....
gettin emotional n crying for petty things is wat i totally dislkike n it often forms a very big part of almost all hindi movies.. wherein the hero n heroine cry, do not accept ones other love ... atleast in this movie it was not there n i am happy about it...
i found the heroines character a bit too much, wherein she thinks she is the best.. but later when she openly accepts her love for him, u realize she is not tat bad!! she is a blend of western n indian culture with burning passion to serve the country n society ....
When shahrukh says tat , there is no need for us to be really proud of our culture , rather its a hindrance for our economic development.. they say it is our culture for the women 2 stay in house all day long n look after the family, n the result the huge brilliance in a women is totally lost ... how true... tis thought has been there in me for so long... as he says every country has its own culture n v have ours... tats it, nothin really big about it..
finally i would say the mmusic was superb n without it the movie would have been total waste..

altruism- good or bad?

is it good 2 place everybodys wishes above ones own?
is it good 2 take up everybody sorrows onto oneself?
but how could one possibly do it? to make everybody happy? on could possibly have hard n tested methods of being happy in every other situation n give those ideas 2 people in distress... they r jus givin them ideas or maybe solutions.. but wat would be the perspective of the listener?he would mostly consider it as an advise or maybe his ideas wouldnt match with the person who is giving the ideas.. only the most mature person would be open 2 new ideas..
but if this method could work.. most of the population would be happy.. but nobody here can digest the fact that somebody can have better ideas than they have..nobody understands that somebody is tryin 2 help them out, rather ego starts playin a very big part...
to advise someone will also mean u r sacrificing urself of the deicency level of not pokin into others business n not makin them act the way u want.......
u could also help people by listenin 2 their sorrows n tellin them tat after all they r not wrong.. n tell them it is human for such situations 2 exist n boost their confidence level so tat they would be able 2 handle the situation themselves.....
but here u wouldnt find happiness for yrself...but ull merely be a garbage where people will be piling up waste on u...
tis is not the usual me... n tis kind of philosphical is also not me... but ive been hurt wen i had tried helpin somebody n tat made me publish such a post..
n i started analyzing y should one really help someone else? wat does he actually gain? answers to these questions nobody knows...
rather i feel one should lead his life peacefully n try ways so tat he can realize his dreams, rather than waste one's energy to help somebody else

the earthquake , floods do terrify the mankind at times... yesterday everybody were making merry n look wat has happened today??????
how , grateful v should all be n thank god for giving such a beautiful life, lovely home n wonderful parents, friends, sisters, brothers... instead most of us grumble about life, find faults with others...
wat is the most important thing in life> happiness... to live every moment thinking it is a gift of god... who knows god might not want to give u the same second another time.. wat ive felt all these days is tat..life is like a gre exam,
in yr gre, u get more difficult questions if u answer the first few questions correctly..but net result u r happy , u get a good score..
same way, god might give u more difficulties if u have been able to face the small difficulties in life, he wants to see u how u tackle it...but finally he gives u the best..
he keeps some people always happy,,,, it is not tat they r always rapturuous with tat bubbling energy, candid almost about everything... while u r abash with some minor failure...not all r happy, but make themselves happy,..
being credulous is not your fault, ...
u construe urself tat way...
here are some ways where u can boost ur hidden energy n do your best....

wow!!!!! each of us have small wishes like these, and even though they seem to be small desire they give us great pleasure n happiness..... these kinds of things make us come out of any kind of depression or sorrow.....

it feels great when u love n hate the same person...
when u cant tolerate tat person..
nor can live without the person....
it feels great to have a petty fight on nothin at all...
but still have the best times together...
wen the other person tells u exactly wat u have in mind...
wen somebody calls u late in the night,,,
n u have no mood to keep the phone down...
u speak on the phone fearin any moment dad might arrive.,...
to get attracted to somebody just by seeing them..
to remember somebody n realze tat the somebody means nobody to u...
but still cant give up the hope tat one day tis nobody might become everybody to u...
to treasure every moment spent with a person..

people around me r fallin in love... i think this is the love season n i guess to everybody i am the person( in short a priest), to whom they all confess their love... i dont blame them , infact they r making my life more interesting... so., hearing to all their stories i have come up with something called ", love thesis", u might all think is it very much necassary during exams?, ya, to me it is,,, hahah

PEOPLE - BEFORE FALLING IN LOVE...
i have generally observed two categories of people n a third very wierd kinda people generally fall in love
kind 1 : these people swear to themselves they will never fall in love, but by fate n circumstances cant stop themselves from " fallin in love"
kind 2: these r people who r amused by the idea of love.. they always want to be in love.. so, they fall in love with any person they want( but they will eventually marry the same person is a very big question).. they just have it for time pass... no offence , ,tis is just my idea...
kind 3: these r the mst supid people who fall in love just to enjoy all the physical pleasures.. but lemme tell u , in my group of friends they form a very small part....
PEOPLE IN LOVE:
after so much of thought n cosiderations these people fall in love.. people in love r a pleasure to watch let me tell u...
they r in a state of trance always.. they r surrounded by thoughts of" love" , n their "loved ones".. they r not ready to talk about anything else.. everything n anything correlates to the person they r in love with .. they rnt ready to come out of this state of trance...
people around them look like fools....
especially if it is gonna be the "first love", such people can forget their studies or career watever, cos tis will keep their mind occupied,,
AS LOVE PROCEEDS
they still have affection for each other,,, but the mysterious force which held them so strongly gets absent in one( if tat force is absent in both, then no problem, cos they can just forget it)
one starts putting so much of expectations on the other, like should have called in time, should remember my birthday n stuffs... when they dont get all tat , pain starts building in....
IF LOVE ENDS IN MARRIAGE, people start loosing faith in love..
they would have fought with the society to win the love n finally they realize all tis is not really worth it!!!
hey, but i am just talkin about a small group...true love still exists in few people which keeps them bonded for life...
ill catch up after exmas with similiar funda..

dreaming about 5 days hols!!!

my study leave is not yet over.... exams r yet to begin(begginning on nov 19)... i did not do much in these hols but have hope tat ill be able to study before the exams..
i am awaiting dec 8,..... wen will these exams get over n when will i again be relaxed n happy....though the hols r jus for 5 days , i am dreamin abt it...
wat else do i say?i am not able to think about anything else.....

if tomorrow comes...

these days i have been thinking too much about my future... wat will i do once i complete my engineering? Will i be in US DOING MY MS? or sitting with a software company writing codes??? iam thinking n thinking n ending now where.. i am in my so called study hols( where the studies i would say is some 1/1000th part)... it is detoriating day by day... i am scared of my exams... people around me call me n keep making me terrified.. especially u, "JANANI"....ok, let me just forget the thought of those stupid terrifying exams n enjoy my blogging...

people around me give me so many ideas of how life in US is n everyone of them give me a different idea.....

MEN......?????

for the past three days since my pracs got over..i had wanted to update my blog but i was relaxing like hell ……….got no time...
i thought ok, tis time i have to post something real intresting...
"MEN" , whom i have really admired in my life... men who dont even know they r making me happy...
i am not gonna talk about "BILL GATES" n wanting to become famous n rich like him or wanting to join his company..
but people who make me happy in small ways.....
my list would obviously start with music maestro "A.R.REHMAN". I am a music lover... n his music is so good, tat it conveys all emotions possible n u start relating to it... now maybe i like a lot of international pop rock singers n composers.... but from my childhood, right from " ROJA"i have liked him.. n listening to it now i get back my childhood memories.. at times he has made me experience "ECSTASY" which anyone can experience only in love......... a great n humble human being too... at times tat becomes important for a person to come up in life..
next in list is " MANI RATHNAM", again he was my favourite since my childhood... my mom says i used to like his movies... n till his latest one " YUVA" n "aytha ezhthu" , i have liked all his movie n ive seen everyone of them atleast once... his characters r totally fictious yet natural... they r extremely bold n they have tis " i wanna live my life the way I want" kinda attitude which is damn admirable.... all his movies have a very happy mood, yet they r informative ….ive seen a few of his interviews n he is such a simple man… he has loads of talent in him to inspire people n entertain them….
Third in the list is our most admired batsman “ DRAVID”… the most handsome man, I have ever seen.. he is the only man I like cos he is smart…. I mean tat is the first reason… apart from tat there r so many other reasons y I like him… I love the way he waits for the ball with the bat in his hand….his concentration n persverance r immense…….he has won laurels to our country… n come up struggling facing all the criticism…
Next is the man with the magical voice…” SONU NIGAM”. Who has ever thought such a handsome looking guy has such a wonderful voice….. when u listen to the song “ jaana” from ptkk, u start thinking how wonderful his jaana must be,…. His voice reflects so much of love for his voice….his voice has so much of style , though resembles mohammed rafi(another man , whose voice I am madly in love with)
Wah bhai whah….” Tumne ishq ka naam suna hain, humne ishq kiya hai”……..
Then there r almost all the actors of bollywood……
“ shahrukh”, the man with the cute dimples, cant stand still for a second…there is no girl who wont get charmed by tis scorpion sting….gouri u must be real lucky…
“amir khan”, I liked him in 2 movies kskt, n dil chahtha hai…. The movie makes u feel , y u werent born a man n y u did not have pals like tat to enjoy….
“ saif ali khan”, the most appropriate person to be termed as “ cool”, the man with his cool attitude is sure to make u feel relaxed.. n feel life is jus to enjoy….
“ABHISHEIK BACHCHAN”, son of the big b, isnt tat small,,,, a face tat can portray so much of emotions… his face reflects so much of mischief….great expressive eyes n charm…
last but not least is our great “ SANTANA”, the only non indian man , I have mentioned in tis blog… I saw him in the video “ smooth” , in my eleventh when my father told me he has been playing for the past 15 , 20 years… I thought tis man must have some talent to survive tis long…. I havent experienced much of a magic when all these rock stars bang the stage with the guitar intheir hands… but his style of music has such an ethnic sense… it is so different from any other music u would have heard… when u listen to “ the black magic woman”, u feel , can tis kind of music really exist , or is it just an illusion…… the music from tis man is just great… when u see him n the video, u feel is tis sixty year old man creating such wonderful young music……?????
Wow,,,, if not for these people my life would have been some 25% less fun….. wat does the remaining 75% come???

these days i have been talking a lot to younger people n i am amazed by them... my sister is the live example though...
she is in the eighth standard.. i think about myself wen i was in eighth n how she is... my god... too different...i was so innocent then.. my world was studies, i was damn ambitious... always craving for the first rank, a girl whom everybody would turn around to at the time of exams.. i was interested a bit in movies, music, books... but always studies were my priority...
n now look at my sister... she says " studies are a very small part of life" , she has a hell lot of shortcuts to finish her homework fast(she does her homework when there is no other go), she has this street full of friends, she reads a whole series of novel... in short she has exposure to too many things..both of us r so similiar yet so different.. but i wonder is this kind of exposure for her betterment... she talks to her friends mostly about movie, music, wat happened in her class,etc... u know in short jus gossip... i was far too away from all tat..
now i dont say i am the same girl i was in my eighth, i am like my sis now... and i think there is no way to turn back...
i have talked to a few of her friends, n again was amazed by the kind of maturity they possess at this young age.. maturity wise i was zero, i didnt know how to get along with people, get along, etc,,, i was damn kiddish..
because these people r social they get to know these kind of things, but look at the transition in these 8 years...
i dont remember myself looking at the mirror till my eleventh... but my sis , she is so beauty consious...
look at the kind of dresses these people wear, result of the influence of the media......

assessments over

i am so happy, my assessments r over today.. it is like my semester exams r over .. i am feeling so relieved.. the worst part of crescent engineering college r our assessments.. v have 2 everyday, gets over in three days ... v have too many portions in each subject n the worst part of it is they r considered for internals... just before the day of de exam u find everything so new... n u have no mood of studying... the afternoon exams r the worst.. u sometimes sleep off on the paper.. the invigilator has to sprinkle water on u n wake u up...
one more month for my semester,,, planning to relax for the next two days...haha... i am gonna enjoy

its like the first day of my college..... my a bit excited, first day college,,,, planned my things perfectly well.... a bit nervous about ragging1... but infact i wanted to be ragged( though not badly)... such memories r still fresh in my mind.... first year... the way me n krith used to have fun....they dont seem like memories .. it is like they happened yday... and now almost two and a half years r over...n again it is time to think about my future!!!!1 wat will i be doing?
except for few parts of my college life whiche were boring...everything else was superb....i mean i think i have perfectly enjoyed every part of it... at the same time i dont regret tat i neglected studies... i had a perfect balance of both...
wen i was in twelfth i thought engineering would be very boring.
but with my fathers advise i joined this... n now i am perfectly enjoying,,,, this is my kind of stream with my kind of people around me,,,,,
i do hope the next one n a half year would go as smoothly as my prev years... then again a new life/...

of late , i have been feeling that i have to do something for the society , to people......... somethin like teach uneducated people, bring an awareness about various diseases to the poor, unaware people....
but how do i do it? i have no idea..... but whenever i get some idea like this, immidiately i find some way to do it... there r lots of people who find this very foolish,
but it does really happen to me....
actually i feel god has planned our lives perfectly,he gives us joy n sorrow, one after another, one to compensate the other... but the net result is perfect.. he knows wat is good for everyone of us... it is realy amazing to know what a great story writer god is, cos he gives the perfect ending to everyone of us.....

college improving

college in third year is getting fun day by day...studies wise it is detoriating...
but i dont know , tis semester i feel i can manage it in my study hols.... dont know how far it is gonna be ok.... basically one of the reasons i am having so much fun is my mobile.... though it gives me a lot of headache at times, it has like become my best friend and i am kind of busy always n not whiling away time... if i am not studying (or to be more clear if i am not going near books), it is because i am engaged in somethin or the other... the best part of my life till now since i have joined college wouldbe my fourth n fifth sem... apart from dat i had a lot of fun in my first year...the only sem which was bad was my third sem......but after that life became fun...

today it is one of the rarest occasions where chennai has such a cool climate.... and today is one of those days..
but everytime it rains i try hard to get drenched in it but it rarely happens....
in my first year as i got down from my bus it started raining heavily... i was so happy i got a reason to get wet in the rain and enjoy it.. but then i realized that dad had put an umbrella in my bag... every other time something or the other happens and about four or five times i have managed to get wet in the rain and enjoy the pure water that pours down from the sky..
who would not love to enjoy that experience ... wat else are we born in this world if we do not enjoy these simple pleasures...
i always dream of a house near the sea where i would have a beautiful garden.. fully green.. and when it rains it would become greener.... tiny droplets of water sticking to the grass and leaves ... i also dream of rolling down the grass.. wow..
i have even rolled in grass when i had been to munnar... it was an amazing hillstation and it was the best holiday i ever had in my life... the crowd there is very less and thats the best part of that place.... there are lots of spots in munnar where you wouldnt find anybody else except u... one such spot was a hilly one where there was grass all over.. me n my sis tried rolling over it...
as i think about the hilly place i am reminded of rajasthan and the huge sand dunes there... when v were there me and my sis used to go there almost everyday ...i will call that place an eight wonder where i saw camel and peacock together..
altogether this nature is a wonderful gift given by god which none of us should miss to enjoy.....

this is one of the rarest days when i am bunking college and sitting at home just because i have cold.... cold is something which has an affinity towards "SARANYA"..... it manages to hit me every month atleast once... but this time my sore throat is killing me... but despite that i am enjoying because i am at home... i have been relaxing the whole day.... i saw "YUVA" for the second time... my sis had got the cd... it is definitely a movie which i would love to see again.... especially the kareenas part.....mainly for thr amazing music in "hey kudhahafiz" n "fanaa" .....
i had always wanted to write ... since my school... since my eleveth i guesss....
i have also written a story which is still in its eleventh chapter.. my imagination doesnt let me beyond that...
day after day i plan to do so many things.. complete that story,clean my room, clean my table, arrange my notes,arrange my clothes,blog( these days), but i do none of these things n somehow manage to while away my time doing nothing.......
i know as a starter my blogging is pretty bad.. totally irrelevant... but tis feeling is kinda good....... to post something...
